The CCTG VISION - Investigator Leadership Training Program is a new education and mentorship course designed to enhance the leadership skills of the next generation of clinical trialists. The program aims to equip current and emerging cancer research leaders with the knowledge, expertise, and confidence to represent CCTG nationally and internationally. The program runs for eight months from April - November 2026 and participants will receive a CCTG Leadership Training Certificate following completion. The VISION Program:Personalized leadership coaching based on behavioral assessment tools. Two leadership coaching workshops, the first held in-person in Toronto (April 23) followed by a second virtual workshop (September 25). 6 monthly interactive virtual group discussions facilitated by invited subject-matter experts. Eligibility:Within 12 years of first full-time primary faculty appointment in an academic medical institution in the CCTG network. Individuals currently in training are not eligible.Have had exposure and experience in CCTG clinical trials and related activities.Have sufficient time available to complete the behavioural assessment and attend >90% of the entire course.Be willing to attend, as observer, CCTG Disease Site Committee executive committees during the 8-month course.Agree to respond to program evaluations.Application should include:Letter of intent containing the following:A brief biography including prior and current leadership experience/program attendance (max 500 words).A summary of past and current clinical trial experience with CCTG (max 500 words).An explanation of why you are interested in VISION and how you think it is going to help your career as a leader in your field (max 500 words).
