CCTG’s Central Operations and Statistics Office is located in the Cancer Research Institute at Queen’s University, with in-house faculty researchers that include clinician scientists, researchers in community health and epidemiology, and biostatisticians. Acting Manager, Office of Clinical Trials Management (OCTM)

The Manager, Office of Clinical Trials Management (OCTM) is responsible overseeing and managing CCTG processes and personnel that relate to study administration (protocol development, trial activation, conduct and closure), clinical data management, investigational medicinal product management, and central office aspects of tumour banking operations. They are responsible for long term planning, development and implementation of these activities to ensure consistency with CCTG strategic directions and accountabilities.

Study Coordinator

Working within a team based structure to coordinate and oversee national, international and cooperative oncology group, multi-centre, multi-modality clinical trials in cancer therapy, prevention and supportive care. Design, develop clinical trials protocols and data collection modules.

Regulatory Affairs Team Leader

Leading the Regulatory Team for the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG) within the OCO. The core responsibilities include leadership to ensure compliance with national and international regulations essential to the compliant conduct of clinical trials, development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures at the Operations and Statistics Centre and in support of partnering organizations, and providing guidance in alignment with CCTG strategic directions.

Regulatory Affairs Coordinator

Responsible for the providing coordination and support for the Regulatory Affairs team, to ensure compliance with national and international regulations essential to the compliant conduct of clinical trials. The Regulatory Affairs Coordinator will provide coordination, compilation, publishing and submissions expertise in the preparation of new and existing regulatory applications.

Monitor/Auditor

The incumbent will conduct quality control and assurance activities for NCIC CTG clinical trials in North America providing support to both the monitoring and audit programs as required. The Monitor/Auditor will also participate in other compliance activities including, but not limited to, involvement with the Centre Performance Index (CPI) and Online Information Organization Network (ONION), and participation on committees and training programs critical to compliance assurance.
