The committee has been renamed the Patient Representatives Committee Wednesday, March 20, 2019 The CCTG Lay Representatives Committee has been renamed the Patient Representatives Committee. The Patient Representative Committee at the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG) has an exceptional history of leadership in Canada in this space. The CCTG Patient Representatives bring knowledge and expertise from the patient perspective that augments the scientific expertise in CCTG’s clinical trial development, approval, and delivery across the network. To better align terminology within the CCTG strategic plan, Canadian SPOR definitions, and with CCTG counterparts in international co-operative clinical trials groups, the need for change was identified, confirmed and approved by all stakeholders. All existing material in the CCTG webpages and documentation is being transitioned and all newly developed documentation will reflect the new name. Please send questions to smceathron@ctg.queensu.ca
