Wednesday, December 21, 2022 The Commonwealth Neuroendocrine Tumour (CommNETs) Research Collaborative held their annual research workshop on December 1 & 2nd in Waikiki Hawaii. In addition to the main workshop, a satellite guidelines panel was conducted in conjunction with NANETS to develop consensus statements for predictive and prognostic biomarkers in metastatic NENs. Updates on the existing landscape of NET research projects in Canada, Australia and New Zealand were received including seven existing CommNETs projects. NET trial updates from both AGITG and CCTG were presented, and Dr. Chris O’Callaghan provided a master class on barriers and solutions to producing clinical trials. Nine new NET research concepts were presented and developed for tri-nation participation. We look forward to the outcomes of this productive workshop and research collaboration.
