Wednesday, June 12, 2019 Clinical Research Associate (CRA) Volunteer Needed for the Breast, Gastrointestinal and Gynecologic Disease Site Executive! The Canadian Cancer Trials Group is actively seeking CRA representatives from Canadian Member sites to sit on the Breast, Gastrointestinal and Gynecologic Disease Site Committee Executives. Disease site committees discuss proposals for new studies and considers their scientific merit and feasibility. Currently there are ten committees, each composed of representatives from centres participating in CCTG trials. Each committee has a chair and an executive; the role of the executive is to review studies proposed by their respective site committees, and on the basis of that review, to recommend trials for consideration to the Clinical Trials Committee (CTC) The CRA DSC Executive member is expected to represent the perspective of the CRA community during discussion of potential new studies and ongoing trials. If you are a CRA working on CCTG trials in the above sites, we encourage you to consider volunteering. The CRA member is funded to attend the Annual Spring Meeting of Participants, and participates in DSC teleconferences as required.
