GI committee recognizes new investigators

The CCTG Gastro-Intestinal Disease Site Committee would like to recognize Dr Vincent Barrette and Dr Anthony Lott for their accrual contributions to the CRC10 study as new investigators.

Dr. Vincent Barrette is a Hematologist and Medical Oncologist at the CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches, based in Lévis, Quebec. He obtained his doctorate in medicine and completed his postdoctoral training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Université Laval. He subsequently completed his breast and digestive oncology fellowship at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre (Calgary, Canada). Dr. Barrette is head of the “service d’hémato-oncologie” at the CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches.

 

 

Dr Anthony LottDr. Anthony Lott is a Medical Oncologist at the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He completed his medical degree at the University of Alberta, followed by residencies in internal medicine and medical oncology at the University of Toronto. He completed fellowship training in breast cancer, melanoma, and GI malignancies at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Master Teacher Program and he completed a Master of Health Science in Health Administration at the Institute for Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation.
