Wednesday, November 16, 2022 Sadly we are informing everyone that CCTG Patient Representative Hamer-Wilson passed away last weekend. She was a vocal champion for clinical trials and lung cancer research who has supported the CCTG Lung Disease site committee since 2018. Jill will be greatly missed by our community and by those supporting lung cancer advocacy in Canada. Judy Needham the CCTG Patient Representative Committee Chair shared her thoughts, "This is a tremendous loss for us, her family and the entire lung cancer community. Jill's dedication to the Patient Representative team and the work we all support is a testament to the legacy she will leave behind." Our deepest sympathy to her friends and family.
