The SC27 trial: Living with Cancer in the Time of COVID-19: A Cohort Study of the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Cancer Patients During Treatment and Survivors has permanently closed.

This study closed to accrual early (in August 2022) after the Steering Committee deemed that the shifting public health mandates around COVID-19 and the high vaccination rate among Canadian adults would mean that the original study target population at study initiation (in June 2020) would no longer be reflected with continuing accrual. A full analysis of the original trial objectives was not feasible, however, a limited descriptive analysis of the data is planned instead.
