Anna Johnson, MA

Equity, Diversity, Inclusivity, Indigenization, and Accessibility (EDIIA) Lead

Anna Johnson joined CCTG as the Equity, Diversity, Inclusivity, Indigenization, and Accessibility (EDIIA) Lead in 2022. In this role, she supports the integration of EDIIA into CCTG’s network, research, and scientific priorities.

Prior to joining CCTG, Anna worked in Indigenous justice supporting Indigenous peoples in conflict with the law as a Gladue Writer and in the Office of Indigenous Initiatives at the University of Guelph where she supported reconciliation and decolonization efforts and the advancement of the Indigenous Initiatives Strategy. She also worked as a researcher for the Centre of the Study for Social and Legal Responses to Violence and the Canadian Domestic Homicide Prevention Initiative with Vulnerable Populations.

Anna holds a Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy and will complete her PhD in Sociology in August 2024.
