CCTG Breast Disease Site Committee Chair Eileen Rakovitch is a radiation oncologist and medical director of the Louise Temerty Breast Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. She is a professor and clinician scientist at the University of Toronto, a scientist at the Sunnybrook Research Institute, and an adjunct scientist at ICES. She also leads a health services research program devoted to improving the treatment and outcomes of women with ductal carcinoma in situ. She recently was appointed co-Chair of the CCTG Breast Disease Site Committee. "The CCTG Breast Site has an impressive track record in collaborative, clinical trial-based research which has led to significant improvements in the treatment and outcomes of individuals diagnosed with breast cancer. I am honored to take on this new role as CCTG Breast Site Co-Chair and to continue to support our national clinical trials and our international collaborations."
